Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in a fast-paced ED environment providing direct patient care and supporting the clinical team.

Unit Details

This is a busy emergency department managing a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels. You'll care for patients presenting with trauma, cardiac events, orthopedic injuries, and acute medical conditions. The unit routinely performs tPA administration, STEMI care, laceration repair, and orthopedic interventions.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 36 guaranteed per week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekends: Rotating weekend schedule; no on-call
• No floating to other units

Requirements

• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience (required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications
• Familiarity with tPA protocols, STEMI care, and acute patient assessment preferred
