Nuclear Medicine Technologist — Travel Contract | Orange, CA
This outpatient nuclear medicine department serves an adult and geriatric population with a steady daily census of 5–10 patients. The unit performs a broad range of general nuclear medicine studies as well as PET/CT (non-diagnostic), and candidates will be expected to perform PET scans — prior PET experience is preferred, though on-site training is available.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour days (9:00–17:30)
- Orientation shifts run 8:00–16:30 for approximately the first two weeks
- No weekends or holidays required
- Optional call available: M–F 4:30–22:00 / Sat–Sun 6:00–22:00 with a 60-minute response time

Clinical Scope
- General nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, PET/CT
- Up to 15 PET scans per day
- Cardiac nuclear medicine skills a plus, particularly for candidates interested in call
- IV start and maintenance required
- Float to nearby sister facilities may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience; travel experience required
- Active California state license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- Certifications: BLS plus NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- Two professional references covering the past three years
- All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays if the contract spans that period
