Inpatient Pharmacist — Rural New Hampshire
This 13-week contract places an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist in a rural critical access setting, providing pharmacy support across ICU, labor & delivery, medical/surgical, and emergency department units.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (7:00–7:30 AM arrival; shift ends 4:30–5:00 PM)
- Rotating weekends every 3rd Saturday and Sunday (6:30–7:00 AM arrival; shift ends approximately 12:00–1:00 PM)
- No on-call required
Clinical Scope
- Supports multiple inpatient units including ICU, LD, M/S, and ED
- Must be comfortable working independently, particularly on weekends
- Familiarity with critical access pharmacy operations strongly preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years current hospital pharmacy experience (required)
- 2–5 years total pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 1 year all-hospital experience may be considered
- Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
- Previous travel pharmacy experience highly preferred
- Active New Hampshire Pharmacist License (candidates must apply the day an offer is accepted; allow approximately 30 days for processing)
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past year (required)

Important Notes
- Rural location — candidates must arrange their own transportation and are encouraged to research housing availability before applying
- Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
- ASAP start preferred
