PACU Nurse – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced PACU nurse to join the admission recovery unit for a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in the immediate post-operative period, monitoring vital signs, managing pain and nausea, and facilitating patient transitions to inpatient units or discharge.
Schedule & Contract
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
- Shift times vary between 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 10:00 AM–8:30 PM
- 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
- Start date: November 2, 2026
Requirements
- 2+ years of PACU nursing experience required
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license (must be in hand at start)
- BLS certification required
What You'll Do
Work in a fast-paced recovery setting caring for post-anesthesia patients, monitoring anesthetic recovery, assessing for complications, and managing post-operative protocols. You'll communicate with surgical teams and prepare patients for next-level care.

A detail-oriented, compassionate nurse with strong assessment skills, ability to work independently, and experience managing varied patient acuity levels in a high-volume environment.
