Position Overview
Join the Emergency Department as an RN delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You'll assess, communicate, and document with precision while functioning independently and responding rapidly to acute patient needs.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts, rotating schedule
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across a range of acuity levels
- Perform rapid and thorough patient assessments
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients/families
- Document comprehensively in the electronic health record
- Act efficiently in time-sensitive situations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Maine)
- Strong assessment, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in fast-paced conditions
- Current ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
