Emergency Department – Travel RN Position

Shift & Schedule

12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Every other weekend or equivalent (6–9 shifts within a 6-week period)

13-week contract

About the Unit

Your Role

• Deliver direct patient care across the ED with mixed holding areas
• Read and interpret telemetry independently; no monitor technician support
• Perform point-of-care lab testing
• Float within a 60-mile radius zone as clinical needs require
• Collaborate with available 24/7 respiratory therapy for breathing treatments and ABGs
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment with unit secretaries, technicians, and nursing support staff

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to work every-other weekends and holidays
• Must be available in-state for orientation week
• Valid driver's license (60-mile radius coverage applies)

Guaranteed Hours

36 hours per week

Up to 4 shifts may be cancelled per 13-week assignment
