Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Enid, OK | 13-Week Contract | Mid Shift

A busy Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join a high-acuity team treating a broad spectrum of patients — from urgent care and pediatrics to psychiatric and critical care/trauma presentations.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour mid shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
• Shift windows: 11a–11p or 3a–3p, or a combination
• Rotating every-other-weekend requirement
• Must reside 100+ miles from the facility

Clinical Scope

The ED manages a diverse patient population with complex nursing needs. Nurses are expected to independently manage critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusion protocols, and chest tube care. Patients range from low-acuity walk-ins to high-acuity trauma and critical care cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Active RN license in Oklahoma (or compact equivalent)
• Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, ACLS
• Electronic health record experience required

Preferred

• BSN strongly preferred

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Anticipated start: November 2, 2026
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
