Critical Care RN – ICU | Night Shift | Greensburg, PA

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Start: November 2026

Clinical Scope

Nurses in this role should be comfortable managing complex, multisystem patients. Key competencies include:

• Ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• ECMO, CVVHD/CRRT, and ventricular assist devices (LVAD/RVAD)
• Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella management
• Post-cardiac surgery care, TAVR, and valve repair/replacement
• Pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring, arterial line management
• Continuous IV sedation, paralytics, and vasoactive/cardiac drip titration
• CVA/acute stroke management, lumbar drain care, epicardial pacing wire management
• Chest tube assistance, fresh tracheostomy care, procedural sedation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
• Willingness to float within the facility and to sister facilities within 10 miles
• Weekend coverage required; every other holiday expected
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Preferred: Charge experience, community hospital background

Pre-start modules (~1 hour) must be completed before the first day. All compliance requirements must be cleared by the Wednesday prior to start.
