Shift & Schedule
Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Every other weekend and holiday coverage required. No call.

13-week contract | Start date: October 26, 2026 | First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Unit Overview
This busy, combined adult and pediatric emergency department sees a high daily volume of patients across all age groups — neonates through geriatrics. The unit manages a diverse, high-acuity caseload including cancer, sepsis, behavioral health emergencies, and general medical emergencies. The facility provides specialty services in stroke care and women's health.
Clinical Skills Required
- and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Ventilated patient care and arterial blood gas interpretation
- Central line care and management
- IV vasopressors and continuous IV sedation
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Blood product administration
- STEMI and stroke patient management
- Behavioral health patient care
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion
Required Certifications
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, STARR/Behavioral population certification
Required Experience
STEMI and stroke facility experience required. Electronic health record experience required.
Additional Requirements
- Active nursing license in hand at time of submission
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- No open background cases
- No local candidates within 50-mile radius
- RTO must be submitted with the application — no post-submission RTO accepted
- Floating to other campus locations may be required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
