Postpartum Nursing – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate registered nurse for its postpartum unit. This is a 13-week contract position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct patient care to postpartum mothers and newborns, including assessments, patient education, wound care, medication administration, and support during the early postpartum period. You'll collaborate with obstetric and pediatric teams to ensure safe, family-centered care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required)
- Nursys license check
- All required vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and TB screening)
- Drug screening
- Criminal background check
- EPLS certification
- Fit test and color vision assessment
- EKG exam and core competencies assessment
- Professional references
