Position Overview
The facility's OR surgical services department is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract. This is a full-time position working a 4 x 10 day schedule (07:00–17:00), with rotating weekend and on-call coverage. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
About the Role
You'll scrub and assist in a high-volume OR environment performing a diverse range of surgical specialties. The unit handles orthopedic, general, ENT, gynecological, plastic, neurosurgical, robotic, podiatric, and dental procedures. You'll work as part of a collaborative surgical team including RNs, CSTs, CST/FAs, and orderlies in a 7-suite OR.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- BLS Certification
- NH Medical Technologist License
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based surgical experience
- General knowledge and skills to scrub multiple surgical specialties
- Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts
- Self-motivated, professional, and collaborative approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic/trauma, neurosurgery, or robotic-assisted procedures
