Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility's surgical services department is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join the OR team. You'll support a variety of surgical specialties in a multi-suite surgical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Variable shifts: 8-hour (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) or 10-hour (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
- Weekend shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM or 7:15 AM – 6:45 PM
- Call duty: 12 or 24 hours on weekends and holidays
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 91-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hospital experience
- Current BLS certification
- NH Medical Technologist License
- CST certification (required)
Clinical Scope
You'll scrub cases across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, gynecology, plastics, neurosurgery, robotics, podiatry, and dental procedures.
Preferred Experience
- Orthopedic trauma and joint replacements
- Neurosurgery
- Robotic surgery (DaVinci, Mako systems)
