Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its inpatient rehabilitation unit. You'll provide direct patient care, implement individualized care plans, and coordinate discharge planning for patients on their recovery journey.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct bedside care to rehabilitation patients
- Develop and execute personalized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge coordination
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Document care activities and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Current RN license (active and unrestricted)
- Preferred experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Required Credentials & Screenings
- Valid driver's license or state ID
- Current immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza, Hepatitis B)
- Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot)
- Health statement and fit test
- Background check and drug screening
- ACLS/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
