Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Duration: 13 weeks | Location: Tulare, CA
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care in an acute-care ICU setting, managing a patient assignment while supervising assigned nursing staff. This role emphasizes clinical leadership, critical thinking, and collaboration across the healthcare team.
Your Responsibilities
- Assess, analyze, and develop individualized care plans for assigned patients
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
- Supervise and delegate appropriately to nursing team members
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines to ensure safe, coordinated care
- Foster a healing environment and provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute-care experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Vaccination compliance per facility policy (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
