Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for a day shift assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a busy med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring patients with diverse diagnoses and supporting their recovery through evidence-based nursing practice.
Schedule & Duration
- Shift: Day, 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 23, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent medical/surgical telemetry experience
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at time of submission)
- Permanent Ohio license or current compact state license in hand
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director required (from past 12 months)
- Background check and BCI/FBI clearance (to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
- Completion of facility orientation modules (6–15 hours; 4 hours billable pre-start)
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts to pass)
