Histology Tech – Acute Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Histology Technician to join the laboratory team in an acute care setting. This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule & Hours
- 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday through Friday, plus Sunday shifts
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- BLS Certification (required)
- Histology licensure/certification per state requirements

- No call-off policy; 14 days' written notice required for cancellation

What You'll Do
Process and prepare tissue specimens using standard histological techniques. You'll handle specimen accessioning, embedding, sectioning, and staining while maintaining accuracy and adherence to laboratory protocols. Your work directly supports pathology and clinical diagnosis.
