Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Callicoon, NY

13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)

This Emergency Department position is located in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Callicoon, NY. The unit manages a broad patient mix across ED and acute care beds, requiring nurses who are comfortable working autonomously and across patient types when census is lower.

Shift Details

• 12-hour nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience is required
• BSN preferred; not required
• Active NY State RN license required prior to submission
• COVID vaccination preferred; exemptions accepted
• All RTO must be submitted with initial candidate profile

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Clinical Expectations

Candidates must be able to hit the ground running with strong multitasking skills. The role covers a full spectrum of ED and acute care patients, and nurses should be comfortable managing varying acuity levels independently in a CAH environment.
