Operating Room – Surgical Technologist / OR Scrub Tech

Burlington, MA | 13-Week Contract | Day Shift

This OR position supports a high-acuity surgical program with a broad range of complex cases. Candidates must be capable of scrubbing independently across multiple services, with particular emphasis on transplant, cardiac, and vascular procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Call required approximately 3 times per month; call windows include overnight, evening, and weekend 12-hour call shifts (Saturday or Sunday)

Clinical Scope

• High-volume, high-acuity surgical environment
• Must scrub independently across most surgical services
• Core competency required in transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Experience in complex, multi-service OR environments is essential

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of OR experience
• Prior experience in a large, acute-care hospital setting required
• Demonstrated competency in transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• BLS certification required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Candidates must have been separated from this facility system for a minimum of 6 months prior to start
