RN – Medical-Surgical/Observation Unit
Position Overview
Join the facility's general medical-surgical and observation unit for a 13-week contract. This is a nights position offering stability with guaranteed 48 hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, four 12-hour shifts per week
- Start date: October 25, 2026
Unit Description
You'll care for a diverse patient population across medical-surgical and observation acuity levels, collaborating with an experienced interdisciplinary team focused on quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
- Completion of facility onboarding requirements, including:
- Health screening and required vaccinations (MMR, influenza, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit testing
- EKG exam
- Core competencies assessment
- Charting system competency validation
- Criminal background check and EPLS verification
What We're Looking For
Strong clinical skills, reliable attendance, and a collaborative approach to patient care. Prior medical-surgical nursing experience is valuable.
Contract Terms
13-week assignment with guaranteed hours. Standard onboarding and credentialing timelines apply.
