Emergency Department RN — Kingwood, TX

This 13-week travel contract places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Kingwood, TX, with a start date of August 24, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour evenings: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts per month; no on-call required

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of acute presentations requiring hands-on, high-acuity nursing care. Procedures performed routinely include IV insertion, blood draws, 12-lead EKGs, and resuscitation. Trauma experience is a plus, though acute ER experience is the essential foundation for this role.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Minimum Qualifications

• Acute Emergency Department RN experience required — candidates without this background will not be considered
• Trauma experience preferred
• Active, personable approach to patient care and teamwork

• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
• No floating required
• Contract length: 13 weeks
