Emergency Department RN — Zanesville, OH

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This busy Emergency Department is seeking an experienced travel RN for a day shift assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. The ED manages a high volume of emergent and critical cases, offering a fast-paced environment with strong clinical variety.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 36 hours/week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required; excessive holiday RTO requests will not be approved
• Call is not expected and would be a rare occurrence

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Guaranteed hours: 36/week; facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per contract period
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 completed ED travel assignments or 3 years of current/recent ED experience
• Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC and/or ENPC certification (strongly preferred, not required)

Clinical Environment

The ED handles a broad spectrum of emergent presentations across a high-volume patient population, including trauma cases. Clinicians should be comfortable managing acutely ill and injured patients in a fast-moving setting with multiple simultaneous priorities.
