Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Geriatric Behavioral Unit | Plymouth, MA

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 2, 2026

Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Guaranteed Hours: 72 biweekly

This telemetry unit specializes in geriatric patients presenting with behavioral disturbances alongside complex medical conditions. The patient population includes those with dementia, confusion, and impulsive behaviors requiring attentive, compassionate care. Day shift is supported by 1–2 CNAs on the unit.

Schedule Expectations:

  • Weekend and holiday availability required
  • No float requirement

Onboarding Requirements:

Candidates must complete an ECG/Telemetry test and a Medications test prior to starting the assignment. Testing is conducted remotely via Zoom within 48 hours of offer. The passing score is 85%, and only one attempt is permitted — no remediation or re-sit is available. A study guide will be provided to help candidates prepare.

Required Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ACLS

Additional Notes:

  • Manager interview required; please submit your availability at the time of application
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
  • Candidates must have been separated from this facility for at least six months prior to assignment start

Ideal Candidate: An RN with strong telemetry interpretation skills and experience caring for geriatric or behavioral health populations in a medical setting.
