Operating Room RN — Surgical Suite | Syracuse, NY

This 13-week travel contract places an experienced OR RN in a high-volume, full-service surgical suite operating 24/7. The schedule is days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Role

You'll scrub and/or circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties in a busy main OR environment, including:

• ENT and Ophthalmology
• Urology and OBGYN
• General, Vascular, and Thoracic Surgery
• Orthopedic and Spine
• Neurosurgery and Plastics
• Robotics

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered New York RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
• Robotic surgical experience (required)
• Electronic charting proficiency (required)
• One holiday per contract

Nice to Have

• Prior travel nursing experience

• Contract duration: 13 weeks (start date September 14, 2026)
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Guaranteed hours per contract terms
