Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role
You will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Your responsibilities include:
- Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment types and frequencies
- Develop individualized care plans based on diagnostic findings
- Implement, monitor, and adjust patient care plans and equipment
- Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition changes
- Administer medications and evaluate outcomes
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and connect them with community resources
- Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes
This is a fast-paced environment where you'll deliver high-quality respiratory care to acutely ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current NBRC certification
- Valid respiratory therapy license
- ACLS/EPLS certification
- Current immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, Varicella)
- Negative TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test and health statement on file
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding and core competencies
What to Expect
Overnight shifts in a dynamic clinical setting. You'll work independently and collaboratively as part of the respiratory care and critical care teams.
