Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Care Unit | Everett, MA

This is a 13-week contract opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care Respiratory Care unit. The position features rotating 12-hour shifts, primarily nights with some evening rotation. No block scheduling. On-call responsibilities are required, along with rotating weekends and every other major holiday. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Clinical Scope

• Airway and ventilator management (experience required)
• Blood gas draws, analysis, and interpretation (experience required)
• Intubation experience required
• Independent practice on shift

Required Credentials & Experience

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active NBRC certification
• Active Massachusetts RRT license at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
• Acute care experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NRP certification preferred
• Flu vaccine required during flu season

Submission Requirements

• Up-to-date resume reflecting 1+ year of specialty experience
• Two recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
• RTO must be submitted at time of application; cannot be guaranteed after confirmation
