Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week contract assignment in the cardiac catheterization lab. This is a day-shift role on a 4 × 10 schedule offering consistent, guaranteed hours.

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10-hour days
• On-call: Every 5th weekend and one weekday per week
• Float responsibility: As needed to pre- and post-cardiac care units
• Contract length: 13 weeks with guaranteed hours

Role & Responsibilities

You'll support interventional cardiac procedures in a busy cath lab environment. Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment setup and troubleshooting, assisting physicians during catheterizations and coronary interventions, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile technique. You may also float to cardiac pre- and post-procedure units to support continuity of care.

Requirements

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) certification required
• State licensure as applicable
• BLS certification
• Proven experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
