Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This opportunity is on a newly opened Med/Surg Telemetry unit, offering night shift positions with flexible scheduling options. The unit provides acute medical and telemetry care, and candidates will be joining as part of the unit's early staffing cohort.

Shift & Scheduling

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available (3x12 or 4x12)
• Choose 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract
• Charge nurse experience preferred, but not required

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history

Licenses & Certifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification

Additional Expectations

• Must be flexible with scheduling per unit needs
• Float to other units may be required
