Med Surg Tele

Medical/Telemetry RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

This is a newly opened Medical/Telemetry unit seeking experienced RNs for a 16-week travel contract. The unit provides acute medical and telemetry monitoring care, making strong med/surg and telemetry assessment skills essential.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Night/Day rotation possible
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday worked per contract required

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Active New York RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Charge experience preferred but not required

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Float to other units may be required based on census and staffing needs
• Scheduling flexibility is expected; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
