Medical/Telemetry RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

A newly opened Medical/Telemetry unit is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week travel contract. This is a great opportunity to join a fresh unit environment with a collaborative team.

Shift & Hours

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with possible night/day rotation)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday shift required per contract

Clinical Scope

• Adult medical/telemetry patient population
• Moderate-to-high acuity med/surg and telemetry monitoring
• Float to other units as needed based on facility census and scheduling needs
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work history
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification (current)
