Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Rochester, NY

This is an opening on a newly established medical telemetry unit, offering an opportunity to help shape the culture and workflows of a brand-new care environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Scope

You'll care for medical and telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, with a focus on acute medical conditions. Charge nurse experience is welcomed but not required. Flexibility to float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• International candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Must be flexible to accommodate scheduling needs; block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
