Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

This is an opening on a brand-new Med/Tele unit, offering an opportunity to help establish culture and workflows from the ground up. The unit manages general medical and telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, with a range of acuity levels typical of an acute care Med/Surg environment.

Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start date: October 27, 2026
• Float to other units required based on facility need
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Must be flexible to accommodate scheduling needs
