Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Nights | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This is an opportunity to join a brand-new Med/Tele unit in Rochester, NY. The unit provides care for general medical and telemetry patients requiring close cardiac monitoring and acute nursing intervention.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Estimated start: October 27, 2026
• 112 guaranteed hours per contract period

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history

Licenses & Certifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification

Additional Information

• Charge nurse experience requested but not required
• Float to other units may be required based on facility need
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
