Med Surg Tele

Medical/Telemetry RN – Travel Contract | Rochester, NY | Nights

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new Med/Tele unit providing care to general medical and telemetry patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and acute nursing intervention.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Location: Rochester, NY

Clinical Scope

• Med/Surg and telemetry patient population
• Charge nurse experience is requested but not required
• Floating to other units may be required based on census and staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for internationally trained candidates
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Must be flexible to accommodate scheduling needs; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
