Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract
A newly opened Med/Surg Telemetry unit is seeking experienced RNs for night shift travel assignments beginning late October 2026. This is a great opportunity to join a fresh unit environment with a professional, collaborative team.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Minimum 1 holiday worked per contract
Contract Details
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Location: Rochester, NY
- Float to other units required based on census and facility need
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital RN experience
- At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
- Non-U.S.-trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
Licenses & Certifications
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS (current)
Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required.
Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible schedule adjusted to meet unit needs. Scheduling flexibility and a willingness to float are essential for success in this role.
