Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care for medical-surgical patients. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient progress toward clinical outcomes
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities; delegate appropriately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure safe, compassionate care
• Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, healing environment and respond to changing patient needs

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in California
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum two years of recent acute care experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
