Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week
Contract Duration: 10 weeks
Start Date: Late October 2025
About the Role
Join a telemetry unit serving patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and acute care nursing. You'll deliver coordinated care using the nursing process, assess and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Continuous patient assessment and monitoring
- Care planning and implementation using critical thinking and professional judgment
- Patient and family education
- Discharge planning and care coordination
- Delegation and supervision of nursing staff
Requirements
Licenses & Certifications (Required):
- Current RN licensure in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience preferred
- BSN preferred
Additional:
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience required
- Holiday requests will not be approved
