Medical Imaging Technologist – CT & Multi-Modality
Position Overview
The facility's medical imaging department is seeking a skilled radiologic technologist to perform computed tomography, x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography examinations. You'll work competently across at least three imaging modalities, contribute to departmental objectives, and support a patient-centered clinical environment.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Current RT (Radiologic Technologist) license for California
- ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current certification in at least one advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography) with ability to perform in at least one additional modality
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Three years of technical experience in medical imaging
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic, CT, ultrasound, and mammographic examinations with precision
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Conduct mobile imaging examinations as needed
- Prepare contrast agents safely for procedures
- Test defibrillator and maintain crash cart integrity
- Perform additional clinical duties as assigned
