Radiologic Technologist – CT
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment and perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures. You will produce high-quality cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues to support clinical diagnosis, and work with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations.
Shift & Duration
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Transfer images via PACS and teleradiology systems to appropriate locations
- Maintain accurate patient records, files, and billing information
- Ensure patient data integrity and compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs across all age groups
Required Qualifications
- Current R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) certification
- Valid California Radiologic Tech (RT) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
- California fluoroscopy license (required if operating fluoroscopy equipment)
- Venipuncture certification (required if administering contrast materials)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in radiologic technology
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
