Acute Care Float RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for night float assignments across multiple acute care units. You'll work 3 shifts per week on a 12-hour night schedule, with flexibility to support various patient populations and acuity levels based on daily staffing needs.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night 3x12-hour (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, includes 30-minute lunch)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: No

Clinical Scope

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license (Tennessee or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience
• BLS certification
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Specifics

• Wear royal blue scrubs
• First-time travelers considered
• 2 references required (can be pending at submission)
• Orientation modules included (non-billable, typically 2–4 hours)
