Outpatient Surgery RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an RN for its Outpatient Surgery department to work in PreOp, PostOp, and PACU settings. You'll support a diverse surgical specialty service in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.
Schedule & Duration
- Four 9-hour shifts per week with varied start times: 6:00–3:30 AM, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
- 14-week contract
- No weekends
- Maximum 7 days RTO (must be finalized at submission)
- No on-call; however, you may be asked to stay until room completion based on unit workflow
Clinical Scope
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure (Georgia or Compact license)
- Minimum 1 year experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS current
- Ability to start IVs
- Familiarity with conscious sedation, general, and local anesthesia
Floating
Required across all divisions of Outpatient Surgery.
Additional Requirements
- Full compliance documents due before start
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
