Days | 4x10 | 13-Week Contract
This active Cath Lab/IR department serves an adult and geriatric population with a clinical focus on both diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The average daily census runs 25–30 patients across seven procedure rooms.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (4x10)
- One weekday call shift per week
- Every 5th weekend call (Friday 6 PM – Monday 7 AM)
- Holiday call may apply for summer or winter holidays
Clinical Scope
The unit performs a high volume of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, left and right heart catheterizations, IABP and Impella support, carotid and peripheral stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, neuro and structural heart procedures, CTOs, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Candidates with EP experience may be floated to the EP lab when Cath Lab/IR volume is low.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) in hand at time of submission — hard stop
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a STEMI/PCI facility
- Must be STEMI-ready
- IABP and Impella trained
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license required; pending OH license acceptable, Michigan license must be in hand
- Charting system proficiency required

- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Travelers expected to float to other units as needed
