CT Technologist — Night Shift | Charlotte, NC
13-Week Contract | Nights | Friday, Saturday & Sunday
This CT Technologist position is a fixed weekend night schedule — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The department handles a high volume of CT procedures across a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics, with emergency and acute care imaging central to daily workflow.
Schedule & Commitment
- 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:30), Friday/Saturday/Sunday only
- Call requirement: 1–2 weeks of call rotation during the assignment
- No float requirement
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during the first week
- Orientation is mandatory in full — missing any portion may result in a delayed or canceled start
Clinical Scope
- Approximately 70 CT exams per day
- Exams include head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, vascular (CTA, pulmonary embolism), musculoskeletal trauma, cardiac, enterography, and pediatric studies
- Advanced post-processing: 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Contrast preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and radiation safety protocols required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS required
- NC or Compact state license (pending applications accepted at submission)
- First-time travelers welcome

- Scrubs: Royal Blue (not provided)
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) are accepted at an adjusted rate
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
