Observation RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Observation RN for a 13-week contract working night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- West Virginia or Compact nursing license (active at time of submission; no pending or temporary licenses)
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care in the observation unit, supporting patients during their diagnostic and short-term monitoring stays. This role offers a structured night schedule with quick interview and hiring processes.
Key Details
- Location: Huntington, West Virginia
- Schedule: Night 3×12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Contract: 13 weeks with guaranteed hours
- Relocation: Non-local candidates only (candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted)
Important Notes
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
- Orientation includes non-billable modules (approximately 4–6 hours), completed during onboarding and annually
- Candidates must provide full legal name (including middle name or initial) at submission
