Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging
Position Overview
The facility's Imaging Department seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services across multiple modalities. You'll perform X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures, including C-arm work and OR support, while maintaining the highest standards of image quality, patient safety, and radiation protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures following departmental protocols and radiologist direction
- Operate imaging equipment safely, adhering to ALARA standards for radiation safety
- Verify exam orders, confirm patient identity using two identifiers, and obtain informed consent
- Review medical history, collect required documentation, and educate patients on procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and procedure documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service calls when needed
- Cross-train across additional modalities as needed; demonstrate flexibility with scheduling
- Assist with inventory management, clerical duties, and staff training
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R)
- Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Position Details
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist and cross-training in CT, MRI, DEXA, or mammography are preferred.
