Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll care for patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses, monitoring cardiac rhythms and providing comprehensive nursing care in a telemetry setting.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 23, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• Current permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from work in the past 12 months)

What You Need to Know

• Pre-start modules are required (6–15 hours, depending on specialty)
• You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; a passing score on both is mandatory
• BCI/FBI background clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Background checks are reviewed; open cases are not accepted
• This facility does not accept license hits

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Nicotine-free facility policy applies (nurses are exempt)
• You may extend for up to 18 months; a 6-month break is then required before returning
