Telemetry RN — Thousand Oaks, CA

13-Week Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

This Telemetry unit specializes in cardiac and neurological patient populations, managing moderate-to-high acuity cases in a fast-paced environment. Nurses receive patients following procedures such as heart catheterization, pacemaker placement, ablation, Watchman device implantation, valve repair, and cardioversion.

Unit & Schedule Details

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 3–4 weekend shifts per month; no on-call required
• Float potential to PCU and Med/Surg

Required Skills

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in:

• EKG interpretation
• IV insertion
• Chest tube management

Experience with post-procedural cardiac care is strongly preferred.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
