CT Technologist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's diagnostic imaging department is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract. You'll perform specialized imaging procedures, prioritize patient safety and education, and work collaboratively with radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and power injectors in accordance with radiation safety protocols (ALARA standards)
- Position patients appropriately using protective equipment and positioning devices
- Perform exams following departmental protocols in collaboration with radiologists
- Assist with routine and interventional CT procedures
- Evaluate scan quality, organize and label processed images, and transmit to the archival system
- Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and safe contrast administration
- Maintain knowledge of additional radiographic procedures (X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm, OR work)
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR
- Cross-train in other imaging modalities as assigned
- Support clerical, reception, and patient transportation duties as needed
- Manage supply inventory and ordering
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with CT certification
- Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 2 years as a practicing CT Technologist
- Cross-training in MRI, DEXA, or mammography
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic health records

- 36 guaranteed hours per week
