OB RN – Nights
Position Overview
The facility's obstetrics unit seeks an experienced RN to provide comprehensive care across the full spectrum of obstetric patients on the night shift. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with the charge nurse, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, individualized patient care.
Clinical Scope
You'll care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and postoperative gynecology patients, as well as support nursery services. Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
- Performing unit-specific clinical skills with competency and sound nursing judgment
- Managing supplies, equipment, and documentation
- Providing age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care that aligns with hospital standards and policies
Requirements
- Minimum one year acute care RN experience
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification
- Completion of general nursing and unit orientation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
