Medical-Surgical Nursing Position

Shift & Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend. No call required.

Position Details

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week. You'll wear ceil blue scrubs and work primarily on a medical-surgical unit.

Flexibility

You may be asked to float to similar units on the same campus or to other campuses within Wichita as clinical needs dictate.

Required Credentials & Licenses

• Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
• License/Certificate Verification

Onboarding Requirements

Standard facility onboarding includes immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit testing, color vision assessment, background check, EPLS certification, and competency-based training. You'll complete orientation on the facility's EHR system and unit-specific protocols before your first shift.
