Certified Surgical Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will provide direct surgical support in accordance with established policies and procedures, working as a key member of the surgical care team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures across orthopedic, neurological, robotic-assisted, and ENT specialties
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
- Serve as a primary coordinator among surgical disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions as appropriate
- Implement and assist with patient care plans
- Assess discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Requirements
- Current NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification
- Strong experience in orthopedic and neurological surgery
- Experience with robotic-assisted procedures across multiple specialties
- Experience in ENT surgery
- Critical thinking skills and sound judgment
- Ability to work in a stressful surgical environment
- Adherence to Standard Precautions and personal protective equipment protocols
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 25, 2026
